"Surely, more good super hero movies in the world is a better thing than more crappy ones—we have far too many of those already." But what if FOX studios or even Sony Ent. made a X-Men/F4/Spidey movie that wasn't just terrible and did badly in the box office but was also awful and near insulting? At what point do you worry they're tarnishing the brand of a Marvel ip?
Guys, we survived this. I think that we’re going to be okay, regardless of how good or bad the new FANTASTIC FOUR movie might be.
(Also, just so you know, if most comic book fans end up loving the new film—which there’s at least a 50% chance that they will—this whole discussion is going to become a lot more hilarious to me.)
Excuse you, the 1994 FF movie wasn’t nearly as bad as the random Sue’s-naked-lol jokes in F4 and the burp jokes in Rise of the Silver Surfer.
We survived THESE ones. Anything will be an improvement.
